And this takes the cake…

So.   Years, YEARS, I tell you.  Of guilt.   Unbuttered bread.   Spray&cook.  Low fat this, low fat that.   A particularly vile boeuf bourguinon made with FAT FREE cream springs to mind.   I could spit blood.

I’m not even going to start on Global Warming, 9/11 etc.

It’s no wonder I’m confused…..

Seeya 🙂

There is the truth, and there is what the media and politicians – particularly those – tell you. The two are very far apart.
I have the perfect diet for staying slim and trim. Eat whatever you like. Just eat very little of it.

Wish they would make up their minds.

Read Michael Pollan’s book “In Defense of Food” for what’s behind all these crazy food fads. It’s quite helpful in sorting through the latest diet frenzy.

I believe chocolate is also good for you. Not a whole slab at a time, of course, but just a piece every day. Maybe, one day, I’ll read that smoking is also not that bad for you (just one a day?)

  5. I dont understand? What has this got to do with David Beckham?

  6. optie says:

Everything in moderation, unless something really does not agree with one. I think with all the processed and precooked food available today people have lost all common sense when it comes to healthy eating.

I think they make up all these things.
Life is way too short to imbibe fat free cream! How can such a thing even exist? The very existence of cream is fat!
Must have been like eating macon 😉

  8. I am also confused 😯

Drop that guilt and enjoy a three egg omelet with real cheese and a glass of champagne! Life is far too short to use fake butter and low fat anything…

I found the other headlines on this page far more interesting. 🙂
The Atkins Diet is really full of delicious fat.Apparently it’s the carbs and sugar that do the most damage. I just eat everything in moderation, except when it comes to a delicious hunk of chocolate cheesecake. 😛
